Yesterday I had the honour of photographing the Logos Hope vessel from Transnet's Augusta Westland Aw 109s Helicopter, which was flown by Pilot Hayden Ford, with Co-pilot Mark Bassier, and Wesley Delport as the wenchman/hoist operator.
It was incredibly inspiring to watch the crew drop off and collect the ship pilots
from the vessels in anchorage. I was astounded by their level of professionalism.
There's nothing quite like a heli ride over rough seas to get the adrenalin going!
